After working for a painting company in Calgary, Alberta and rising through the ranks for almost 11 years, Matt decided to start up his own company. Partnering with his wife Janet who handles the admin, Catalyst Painting was born in April 2018. We started with mostly residential jobs, but soon were doing many large scale commercial projects including grocery stores and car dealerships. Our team quickly grew to include eight hard working staff. In 2020 Matt and Janet decided to move to Ontario to be closer to family as their own family grew to include their daughter. We supported one of our top staff in Calgary as she started her own painting company which absorbed our other staff and subcontracted projects we had on the books. Once we were settled in Chatham we started up Catalyst again. We now have a great, trustworthy crew, and have been doing mostly residential, property management and insurance jobs.
